Chili

Ingredients

· 1 lb grass-fed beef or bison, chopped in small pieces

· 1-2 Tbsp olive oil

· 1 medium red onion, chopped

· 4-5 cloves garlic, minced

· 2 Tbsp cumin

· 2-4 Tbsp chili powder (more to taste)

· 1 Tbsp oregano

· 1 Tbsp cinnamon

· 2 tsp unsweetened organic cocoa

· 1 tsp paprika

· 1 can crushed fire-roasted organic tomatoes

· 1-2 cups water

· 2 14-oz cans of any combo of kidney, black, or pinto beans

· 1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds

· 1-2 Tbsp red hot sauce

· Red pepper flakes to taste (be careful, these get hotter as they cook!)

 Preparation

· Brown meat over medium heat with onions, garlic, salt, and
seasonings. 

· Add remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat 1-2 hours,
stirring occasionally.
